Pimlico, London - Rare 1950s film, great research for my new 1950 set crime novel

I came across this fantastic video of 1950 Pimlico, very useful research for my new 1950 set crime novel featuring a Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Alun Rees. He has a flat in Pimlico but he is sent around the coast of Britain to crack complex marine set mysteries. Written in the style of the British Classic Crime Novels to be published later this year(hopefully).
